Thermal labels

Thermal labels are specialized labels designed for use with thermal printers. These printers use heat rather than traditional ink or toner to create images or text on the labels. There are two main types of thermal labels:

  1. Direct Thermal Labels: These are coated with a heat-sensitive layer that darkens when heat is applied. They don't require ink or ribbons, making them cost-effective, but they are more susceptible to fading over time and are best for short-term use, like shipping labels or receipts.
  2. Thermal Transfer Labels: These require a ribbon with heat-sensitive ink. The printer transfers the ink from the ribbon onto the label using heat. These labels are more durable and suitable for long-term use, such as product labeling or asset tracking.

Thermal labels are widely used in industries like logistics, retail, healthcare, and manufacturing for their efficiency and adaptability. Are you considering using them for a specific purpose?
